Welcome to AmDisplayPro! This guide will help you get started with displaying Amazon products on your WordPress site.

📦 Installation

Automatic Installation

1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel
2. Go to Plugins → Add New
3. Search for “AmDisplayPro”
4. Click Install Now then Activate

Manual Installation

1. Download the plugin ZIP file from your account
2. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
3. Select the ZIP file and click Install Now
4. Click Activate Plugin

🔑 License Activation

After installation, you need to activate your license to unlock all features:

1. Go to AmDisplayPro → Settings in your WordPress admin
2. Enter your license key in the field provided
3. Click Activate License
4. You’ll see a confirmation message with your license type

🔌 Amazon API Setup

To display Amazon products, you need to set up your Amazon API credentials:

1. Go to AmDisplayPro → Settings → API
2. Enter your Amazon Access Key ID
3. Enter your Amazon Secret Access Key
4. Enter your Amazon Associate Tag (your tracking ID)
5. Select your preferred Region (US, UK, DE, etc.)
6. Click Save Changes

⚙️ Plugin Settings

Configure AmDisplayPro to match your needs:

General Settings

• Default Template: Choose which template to use by default
• Cache Duration: How long to cache product data (1-24 hours)
• Open Links: Choose to open links in same tab or new tab
• Nofollow Links: Add rel=”nofollow” to affiliate links (recommended)

Display Settings

• Show Price: Display or hide product price
• Show Rating: Display Amazon star rating
• Button Text: Customize the “Buy on Amazon” button text
• Currency: Choose currency display format

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get my Amazon API credentials?

Sign up for the Amazon Associates Program. Once approved, go to “Product Advertising API” in your dashboard to generate your keys.

Why aren’t products displaying?

Common issues:

• Check that your API credentials are correct
• Verify the ASIN is valid and exists on Amazon
• Make sure your license is active
• Check if you’ve reached your monthly product limit (Free tier: 60/month)

Can I use this on multiple sites?

It depends on your license:

• Free/Personal: 1 site
• Business: Up to 5 sites
• Admin: Unlimited sites

How do I upgrade my license?

Log into your account at amdisplaypro.com/account and choose an upgrade option. Your existing activations will be preserved.
